Captain America tells us what his job is really about. From the “What If?” series of Marvel comics from the 80s; in this one, the real Captain America is awakened from his sleep years later than in the “real” timeline, and he discovers that a paranoid fake Cap has been put in his place to lead witch hunts against commies and create racial segregation on the pretense of public safety.
